In order to do so effectively and efficiently, you need:

Effective leadership can improve employee engagement

Employee engagement is a measure of how motivated and committed employees are to their work. It’s important because it can have a positive impact on employee productivity, retention rates, etc.

  • Effective leadership can improve employee engagement by making sure that everyone feels like they’re part of the team. This will help you retain top talent and motivate others to do better work.

  • When an employee feels like he or she has control over what happens at his or her desk (and not just blindly following orders), he or she will be more engaged in his or her job—which leads us back up the chain of success!

Good leaders are accountable for their actions

A good example would be when someone asks for an increase in salary or benefits because they feel as though they’ve earned it; this type of thing should be done with care because if not handled correctly then could lead down some dangerous roads (e.g., lawsuits).

To have a successful career, you need to be a good leader. Leadership is important because it helps people to achieve their goals, grow and learn new things, feel valued by others and make an impact in the world.

If you want to be successful, it’s important that you learn how to lead effectively. The first step is understanding the role of leadership in your career path and what you need as an individual. Then, it’s about developing these skills and cultivating your own leadership style so that people will listen when they need to hear from you. Finally, make sure your employees feel like they can trust their leader by doing everything possible within reason and not overstepping boundaries unnecessarily – because if they don’t feel safe working for someone who has power over them then chances are they won’t stay long term!
