I envision my social work career path with me having to complete a few more courses after I complete this program so that I obtain my certification in school social work. I currently work at a high school and would like to continue working with this population at least for the next few years. Beyond the next few years, I’m not certain where this field will take me. I will say that I am passionate about many areas in social work including mental health so I am open to whatever this field has for me. My overall career goals are to one day be skilled, confident, and licensed so that I am able to provide therapy to individuals, in particular, adolescents and their families. My short-term goals in my Learning Agreement will help me to The work that I am doing during field will give me the needed experience to be able to engage, assess, and help a diverse population of individuals. A great majority of my work experience has been with children and adolescents. This gives me the opportunity to work with a broad range of individuals and problems which I will need if I decide to go into clinical social work or in practice for myself
