1. First, you need to select one article from the Open Essays – Humanities LibreTexts websiteLinks to an external site. (on which you will base your rhetorical analysis essay).
2. Second, create a 2-3 minute narrated PowerPoint or video that includes:
· Title of your chosen text from Open Essays, Humanities LibreTexts.
· A brief summary of the text in your own words.
· Your initial thoughts on the article’s rhetorical situation:
· Who is the author?
· Who is the audience?
· What is the author’s purpose?
· Choose one rhetorical appeal (ethos, pathos, logos) and explain how it appears in the article, using a specific example or quote.
