Nurse informaticians must understand the flow of nursing work to develop information systems that provide effective support and usability. In this course, students examine the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of electronic information systems in healthcare. They compare, contrast, and critique methods of systems design and devote special attention to workflow modeling.
