1. Explain the difference between phonemic and phonological awareness being sure to explain what students should be able to do in each.

2. Describe and activity that could be used to teach phonemic or phonological awareness. First, identify the skill aimed to (i.e., rhyming, blending and so on). Second describe the activity and then explain what the student would do to complete the activity.

3. Give an idea as to how you would know student is beginning to master this skill.
