Social cognition is the ability to perceive, understand and interpret other people’s behavior. It involves the ability to recognize and make sense of the thoughts and feelings of others. This can be applied in many different ways; for example:

People with a high level of social cognition are able to identify emotions on someone else’s face. They may also know what kind of emotion they are feeling without even having to ask!

Those that have low levels will struggle with this because they have difficulty interpreting body language or facial expressions as well as understanding why someone would feel an emotion (e.g., anger).
In addition, there are two main areas where social cognition comes into play: perception and reasoning/language skills such as memory recall or verbal fluency (the capacity for speaking more quickly than usual). These aspects are critical when it comes down how well someone performs at work because if those aspects don’t work properly then it could lead them into making mistakes which could cause damage within companies across different industries such as banking institutions where these types risks may occur most often due mainly due lack adequate training opportunities offered by companies prior hiring new employees who come from another country without knowing English language well enough before entering into new location where there might not be many opportunities available yet still expect colleagues’ support instead so don’t forget about those things!
