In this week’s Discussion, you had the opportunity to see how the goals in your Learning Agreement

might lead to—and connect with—broader career goals. While the Learning Agreement is a document

used specifically in field experience, it can also facilitate your development beyond school. So, as you

construct your Learning Agreement, continue to keep those long-term goals in mind. What smaller tasks

at your agency might reinforce a critical skill needed to reach a career milestone? How might your

intern-level training support the direction you want to take your career?

In this Assignment, you write your Learning Agreement in order to leverage and document these

opportunities. 

Be sure to review the Learning Resources before completing this activity.

To prepare:

 Access the Learning Agreements page on the Field Experience website, linked in the

Learning Resources.

 Choose and download the Learning Agreement that corresponds with your program. If

enrolled after May 31, 2021, download the MSW Advanced Practice Learning

Agreement.

 Review your Week 2 Goal Development Worksheet and refer back to the Learning

Agreement resources found in Week 2. Complete all portions of your Learning

Agreement.
