Now that you have done a careful self-analysis and received feedback, it is time to write the final statement. A good and genuine statement is one that reflects your personality and interests and ultimately inspires you to achieve your goals. You should also answer the “who”, “what”, “how”, “why” questions within the statement.
The final document should be:
One (1) Word document (using the template provided). It will include your final statement and how you were able to answer the questions “who”, “what”, “how”, “why” in your statement.
Guidelines for the final video:
1-2 minutes in length
Read the statement first
Present the rationale for your statement – give some background on your purpose
Include relevant information – your journey in defining the statement, or what you plan on doing moving forward, etc.
Dress and conduct yourself professionally
End with a thank you or closing remark
