Develop strategies and policy statements to support best practices in data quality and performance improvement.
Present research on how the data in your portal will advance patient-centered care.
Integrate your knowledge of portal design standards and approaches with the multimodal experiences offered by familiar firms such as Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google. Determine how the multimodal experiences can be applied to your portal.
Build a case for how your technology recommendations can meet the organization’s goals.
Consider the organization’s requirements for safeguarding protected health information (PHI). Create a compliance plan for the organization to ensure the security and privacy of the PHI when releasing it to the patient via a patient portal.
