ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
RN Capstone Project
Introduction
The goal of the RN Capstone Project is to help you learn how to plan and execute a research project. It will also teach you the skills needed to become an independent researcher in your field. The project will be conducted at a hospital in the United States, where we will recruit participants who have been recently discharged from the hospital after an illness or injury that required their care during their stay there. Our goal is to collect data on these participants’ experiences during their stays at this facility relative to other hospitals around the country; gather information about what factors might have contributed most significantly to these experiences being positive or negative; and develop recommendations based on our findings so that other clinicians may benefit from them when they practice in similar environments themselves (such as rural remote areas where healthcare access may be limited).
Professional development and project summary
The project was to develop a tool for measuring the impact of social media on the lives of youth. The goal of this project was to create an online tool that would allow users to easily access information about how their online activities affect them socially, emotionally and behaviorally. In order for this tool to be effective, it needed to have three core features:
-
A user-friendly interface with clear instructions on how best use it
-
A way for users’ data collected via social media sources (Facebook, Instagram) to be analyzed by psychologists or researchers working in schools or universities who are interested in studying these issues further (this could include anyone who has completed coursework related specifically toward understanding social media effects; however it would likely be limited at first due to cost associated with collecting large amounts of data)
A description of the project at a high level
Project description:
The project objective is to assess the current status of technology in the field, identify needs and priorities for future R&D efforts, and assess the extent to which these technologies are currently being used by various stakeholders in both developed and developing countries. The project also seeks to develop an action plan that will guide future research efforts on heat transfer problems related to combustion systems (such as gas turbines).
Goals for the project
-
What are your goals for the project?
-
What do you want to achieve?
-
What will be different after the project is completed?
-
What are the key milestones that need to be met?
-
What are the key metrics that will be used to measure success?
How goals were achieved
In this capstone project, we were able to achieve our goals by following the steps below.
-
Describe how goals were achieved:
The first step was to define our project management methodology. We decided on a hybrid approach which involved using multiple tools (such as JIRA and Trello) in addition to traditional project management techniques such as Gantt charts and task estimates. There were many benefits of this method: it allowed us to use all three tools efficiently; it helped us keep track of progress towards each goal; it facilitated collaboration between team members who weren’t working directly on the same tasks at once; etc..
RN Capstone Project
As a nurse, you have learned about the importance of taking care of your patient’s health and safety. You have also learned about the role that nurses play in helping patients recover from illness or injury. In this capstone project, you will examine how nurses can use technology to improve patient outcomes by learning more about their needs and providing them with access to information they need when they are unable to speak for themselves.
The goal of this capstone project was to create an app that would help nurses provide better care at home while they were away from their patients’ bedsides or hospitals.[1] The idea behind this app is that if there are any problems related to a patient’s care while he/she is being cared for at home by his/her nurse (e.g., medication administration), then it would be helpful if those issues could be communicated quickly via text message instead of having someone call back later after hours when it might already be too late.[2]
Conclusion
The RN Capstone Project is an excellent opportunity for you to demonstrate your mastery of the nursing profession. The project provides a chance for students to develop skills that will be useful as they continue their academic journey or enter the workplace.
