It’s important to note that “population” does not refer to just individuals; it also refers to groups like families and communities, who may have different needs than those within them (i.e., parents vs children).
Public health professionals work to improve the health of populations through research, education, and policy making—not just through individual actions such as medication use or exercise routines!
