The Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP) is a nonprofit, voluntary organization dedicated to the education, credentialing and professional development of allied health professionals. The association supports its members in their efforts to meet the needs of patients and communities and to enhance public health.

The ASAHP is a nonprofit organization that promotes and enhances the quality of education, training, and practice in the allied health professions. Its mission is to ensure that all students in our country have access to world-class education through partnerships with other organizations whose goals align with ours.

The vision for the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP) is to be “the voice for excellence and innovation in education, research & clinical practice across all disciplines within ASHP.”

Mission

The Board of Directors of the Association of Schools of Allied Health Professions (ASAHP) is responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive plan for the overall operation and success of the organization. It’s made up of volunteer leaders who are committed to preserving our profession’s integrity, ensuring it remains accessible to all students who want to learn more about careers in allied health.

The ASAHP works to enhance the quality of health care through education, research, and advocacy. The organization fosters interdisciplinary cooperation among allied health schools and their students by serving as a resource for information and assistance in the administration of allied health education.
