Personal definition of ethics

Introduction

Ethics is about knowing what is right, what is wrong and why this difference exist.

Ethics is about knowing what is right, what is wrong and why this difference exist

Ethical behavior is about knowing what is right, what is wrong and why this difference exists. It’s about making decisions based on a moral standard and then living in accordance with those standards. Ethics can be defined as the study of good behavior, but it also involves considering consequences for actions or inaction.

Ethics aims to help people live better lives by encouraging them to do the right thing without being forced or coerced into doing so; instead, ethics provides guidance for how we should behave in order to achieve our goals—individuals who are ethical might have specific standards they follow when deciding whether something should be done or not done (for example: “If I don’t have enough money at this time then I will save up”).

People who set high standard for their ethics know that there is something beyond themselves to which they are accountable or responsible

People who set high standards for their ethics know that there is something beyond themselves to which they are accountable or responsible. They know that they are not the centre of the universe and that their actions have consequences for others. They also understand that what is right and wrong depends on what is best for everyone, even if it means sacrificing your own interests in order to achieve this goal.

This kind of thinking leads people with high standards towards ethical behaviour because they understand that doing things ethically is not about being good at some abstract sense but about doing good by helping others, regardless of what those others want in return (or don’t want).

Some people have good ethics

Some people have good ethics. These are the ones who are honest, trustworthy and reliable; not greedy or selfish; considerate of others; have a strong sense of right and wrong; loyal to their friends and family.

Takeaway:

The main takeaway from this article is that ethics is about doing what you believe to be right and wrong. It’s about taking a stand for what you believe in, even if it means standing alone.

The most important thing to remember when dealing with ethical dilemmas is that there are no clear-cut answers; there are multiple options and every situation will have different implications depending on how you approach it. The best way to learn how to deal with these situations is by thinking critically about them before acting on your impulses or prejudices towards others.

If you’re still confused by some of the terms used throughout this guide or think there might be something missing from this list (or want more information), I highly recommend reading up on current events in order at least one reference source such as Wikipedia!

Conclusion

I hope this has helped you understand the meaning of ethics. If you think about it, what is ethics? It is a code of conduct or standards by which we live our lives and act in society. You can have good ethics or bad, but either way they are something we should all strive for.
