1.

Which of the following is true?

Once you have started a Progress Monitor, Exam, or Quiz, you can toggle back and forth between the assessment and course materials to find the answers.

Once you have started a Progress Monitor, Exam, or Quiz you cannot toggle between the assessment and course materials.

If you toggle between your courseware and a Progress Monitor/ exam/quiz, you may lose the responses you have already completed or your work will automatically submit even if you have not completed the assessment. The introductory instructions screen for each assessment will indicate the time limit, if any. Some assessments will show correct/incorrect answers and/or feedback immediately when you click Submit, but your Academic Coach will not know that you have completed the assessment until you are connected to the internet.

An internet connection is unnecessary to submit your Progress Monitors, Exams, or Quizzes to be graded because you can see immediate feedback if your professor has made it available.

No Progress Monitors, Exams, or Quizzes have time limits in which to complete the assessments once you have begun.

Toggling back and forth between a Progress Monitor, Exam or Quiz may cause you t lose the responses you have already completed and may even cause all the work finished to this point to be automatically submitted even though you have not finished all the questions.

The relationship between Personal Philosophy of Nursing and professional pactice

Introduction

Nursing is a profession with many layers of practice. Nurse’s personal philosophy is a cornerstone of the work we do and should be incorporated into all nursing practice.

Nursing is like an onion with many layers of practice.

Nursing is a complex, multifaceted profession. It’s like an onion with many layers of practice—each one building on the previous one and contributing to the whole.

Each layer builds on the knowledge and skills of its predecessor; each layer adds something unique to your practice as a nurse or nurse practitioner. The decision about which layers are most important in your field depends on what you want out of your career: do you want to help people? Do you want to improve health care outcomes? Are there certain areas where more experience would be helpful, such as leadership roles or administrative duties?

Individual nurses make a pact with society.

As a nurse, you have the social obligation to help others in need. This can be done through any number of means: from comforting the sick and injured, to advocating for patients’ rights when necessary. It’s important that you never let fear stop you from doing what needs to be done—and it’s equally important that you remain accountable for the health of society as well as your own.

It’s also worth noting that nurses are accountable not only for their patients’ well-being but also their families’ well-being. If a family member is struggling financially or has other issues affecting them personally (such as relationship problems), nurses must have courage enough not only take care of themselves but also take care of others around them!

Nurses are accountable for the health of society.

Nurses are accountable for the health of society. It is our responsibility as nurses to ensure that all patients receive care that is safe, effective and consistent with their needs. In order to fulfill this role, nurses must be willing to take responsibility for their actions and words in relation to patients’ rights, dignity and safety.

Nurses must also be willing to accept accountability for themselves because they are held accountable by society as well as by their peers within the profession who depend on them for leadership in providing quality care (Foskett & Simonsen 1999).

Nurses have a social obligation to help others.

Nurses have a social obligation to help others.

The nurse’s pact with society means that we must constantly demonstrate our personal philosophy in our actions and practices. Nurses are accountable for the health of society, which includes helping those who need it most. This can be done through any number of ways: providing compassionate care while they are being treated, comforting those who may be grieving or nervous about upcoming events, or even just listening to them talk about their day-to-day lives (if you’re feeling particularly helpful).

Nurses should always be helping people who need it.

Nurses should always be helping people who need it.

Nurses have a moral obligation to help patients, families and communities in their time of need. They should strive to solve problems that affect the quality of life for others and improve society as a whole.

Nurses must have the courage to advocate for their patients’ rights without fear of retribution.

Nurses must have the courage to advocate for their patients’ rights without fear of retribution.

Nurses must be able to speak up for their patients, themselves and other nurses.

The nurse’s pact with society means that we must constantly demonstrate our personal philosophy in our actions and practices

The personal philosophy of nursing is the core of our profession. It’s important to understand that we must continually demonstrate our personal philosophy in our actions and practices, whether it be working with a patient or advocating for their rights.

The nurse’s pact with society means that we must have the courage to stand up for what is right; this means having the courage to advocate for patients’ rights, even when they don’t agree with us or don’t like what we’re doing. We need this because if nurses don’t work together as one voice on behalf of those who are being cared for, then no progress can be made toward improving health care systems around the world.

Conclusion

Nurses have a personal responsibility to help society, and that requires a strong pact with society. The nursing profession’s core values of compassion, respect, and advocacy are all pillars of this pact. But it also means that nurses must be willing to fight for the rights of their patients, even when facing opposition from those who don’t understand what we do every day. We need nurses like you who are willing to stand up for what is right even when people may disagree with you on how best practices should be followed today; because in order for our world to become better tomorrow than yesterday we must start now by bringing new perspectives into our work environments today!
